Colonial Reception Tea

Saturday, July 20 – 2 to 4pm • 218 Washington Street, Cumberland

2024’s second elegant Saturday tea event will serve as a tasty warm up to this year’s Heritage Days weekend.  The day’s program will include a period dress presentation by Barbara Crane, a popular historic actor at Ashby’s Fort, about the role of women on the 18th century colonial frontier. The day’s refreshments will be themed to the colonial fare of the era. Our colonial tea can be enjoyed in newly serviced air conditioned comfort at the Gordon Roberts House.

Seating is limited to 30 patrons so don’t delay. As always, tickets are discounted for active ACHS members. On-line 2024 membership is available at https://alleganycountyhistory.org/membership-application/
