ORGANIZATIONAL MEETINGS

It’s time to board the history train! Imagine something more fun than being a Ninja Turtle. More exciting than Mahjong. More rewarding than reading your Fit Bit.

We envision joining the newly Program Team at ACHS like being backstage at DelFest! We’re  looking for talented people to work with the public as tour guides and educators, and channel historical characters and costumes. You’ll be in on all the planning. Your feedback will be welcome, your ideas for improving our history programs and creating new projects will be heard and discussed. You’ll be involved in all the “what, how and when” around the growing calendar your Historical Society now promotes.

ACHS now programs and maintains four historic properties, including Cumberland’s historic Canada Hose House on North Mechanic Street pending the Mayor and City Councils acceptance of our winning bid on the structure.

This week we’re immersed in one-on-one meetings with many of the people who have already indicated their interest already and will hold three public organizational meetings on the dates below.  Everyone is welcome to attend, it will help us plan if you can fill out the form below to let us know your plans!
